Shannon McJannet

“I have been fortunate to be able to work with the staff and students at LCBI since the fall of 2015.  In my role as School Counselor, I strive to support students to take care of their mental health needs, strengthen their resilience, and grow their capacity for happiness and well being.

Although I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of social work capacities through the years (mental health, victim services, child protection etc…), one of my main passions has always been working with children and youth in the school system.  In addition to my work at LCBI, I also hold contract in several schools within the Sun West School Division as well as operating a private practice which offers therapeutic counseling and consulting services.

My husband Greg, along with our two children Hannah and Ben, have called the Outlook area home since 2009.  We spend a lot of time cheering our kids on in various sports, celebrating our passion for music and appreciating the joys of small town life.”
